Yearbook Photographers

The majority of the yearbook work for the volunteers is taking pictures during school hours for various school events. We are also looking for a volunteer to head up coordination efforts in regards to organizing/uploading photos from our committee members.  Any questions? Contact:  sharonptayearbook@gmail.com

Book Fairs

The Bookfair committee runs 2 fairs each year - a Fall and Spring bookfair each year. Each class visits both the fall and spring fairs so that every child in the school has an opportunity to shop.  We also have family nights where parents and guardians can shop after school hours.  The great thing about this committee is that there is no planning or prep, you sign up for time slots you want to work and show up that day! We need volunteers to help kids shop and stay within their budget (esp now that we need to charge sales tax this year!), run the registers and wish lists. sharonbookfair@gmail.com

Media Center/Library 

 At the media center, our volunteers help check in and check out books on a weekly basis. We also help put away the books, keep the shelves organized, and help kids find books.  Our volunteers contribute towards an engaging and smoothly run media center. SESMediaCenterHelp@gmail.com

Sharon Shines

Sharon Shines is a PTA initiative that shines light on ways that the Sharon community, Pre-K to 4th graders can make a difference locally and shines light on the Sharon students for wanting to make your community a better place.  Sharon Shines is a community service program where Sharon students learn about multiple local organizations that help support our community.  Students also participate in a community service project that benefits these nonprofits.  rvillesharonshines@gmail.com 

Trunk or Treat

The PTA hosts a Trunk or Treat in the large field near the school.  We'll need volunteers to help set up day of, check cars in, and guide them on where to park.

Teacher Appreciation Committee

Volunteers are needed to assist with setting up Teacher Appreciation events throughout the school year.  sharonteacherappreciation@gmail.com 

Color Run

The PTA hosts a Color Run in the spring in the open field near the school.  Volunteers will be needed for set up, organizing the event and clean up.

Spirit Wear

Volunteers will help organize and distribute spirit wear.  sharonspiritwear@gmail.com

Prep Pals

Liane Balevski has created and implemented a unique opportunity for parents to help support our teachers by coming in to make photocopies once a week.  This is a great way to give back!  Interested in participating??  sespreppals@gmail.com 

Craft Fairs

We held our first craft fair last spring and it was a great success!  We need volunteers to help with marketing, set up and running it day-of.  SharonCraftFair@gmail.com

Ice Skating Social

This wonderful event is held in January or February at the Mercer County Ice Rink.  Volunteers will be needed day of to help check people in.
